1. Hunter Renfrow is a big fan of the Clemson Tigers. He grew up in Myrtle Beach and has been a loyal fan since childhood, attending games with his father where they would cheer on their beloved team. He is known to wear orange socks and even put orange stripes in his hair when he was playing for the school.
2. Hunter became an instant success story once joining the Clemson football program. During his time there, he broke several records including total receptions (186), career receiving yards (2,133) and most touchdown catches by any Tiger receiver (15). As one of Deshaun Watson’s closest friends on the team, Renfrow was instrumental in helping the team achieve its national championship win in 2017.
3. Although most of his time has been spent on the field or inside the classroom, Renfrow also had a chance to take part in a unique opportunity during college. He was chosen as one of 20 students nationwide to participate in the NCAA’s Google Cloud Student-Athlete Success Program aimed at helping student-athletes transition from college life into their desired careers.
4. After his time with Clemson came to an end, Hunter was drafted by the Oakland Raiders with the 149th overall pick and signed a four year contract worth over $2.6 million. His impact has already been seen with 45 receptions for 449 yards and two touchdowns so far this season, setting up high expectations for the remainder of the year.

He was a four-time letterman in football and was named All-Region two of those years. In addition to being an outstanding athlete on the field, he also maintained a 4.3 GPA and graduated as valedictorian of his class.
7. Hunter’s success on the gridiron didn’t end after high school when he earned a full scholarship to Clemson University where he played wide receiver for the Tigers from 2014 to 2018. During his time at Clemson, Renfrow quickly became one of quarterback Deshaun Watson’s favorite targets and helped lead them to multiple National Championship appearances.
9. After graduating from Clemson, Hunter was signed by the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent, and subsequently made the 53-man roster for the 2019 season. He has since become a key contributor to the team’s passing attack and is now in his third year with the Raiders. His dedication to hard work and success have made him one of the most beloved players on the team.

In 2018, he started The Renfrow Family Foundation which focuses on providing resources and support for underprivileged children throughout South Carolina. Additionally, he also participates in volunteer activities such as toy drives, feeding the homeless, and visiting children’s hospitals to show his support. He has become a role model for many young people in his community and is an inspiration to all those who strive to achieve their goals through hard work and dedication.
